Inclusive Golf Runnymede – Sessions for older people in Runnymede improving Health and Well-being

It is well documented that exercise can improve both physical and mental wellbeing and this was observed with many of the participants during the sessions.  Through our innovative format, we aim to make it easier for people to pick up a club and have a go in a comfortable “no frills” environment.

This programme brought 14 people (4 Male and 10 Female), aged 60-92 together to participate in 10 weekly one hour sessions.  All participants thoroughly enjoyed trying new activities and socialising together.
